Deadhock collects and stores the following information necessary for its operation:
- Discord Server IDs and Channel IDs — to know where to post match results.
- Steam IDs — to identify and track registered players' matches.
- Player Nicknames — display names assigned by server members for scoreboard readability.
- Match Data — temporarily cached from public Deadlock APIs including hero picks, KDA, and other in-game statistics.
2. How We Use Your Information
All collected data is used solely to provide the Deadhock service: polling for new matches, generating scoreboard screenshots, and posting them to designated Discord channels. We do not sell, share, or use your data for any other purpose.
3. Data Storage and Retention
- Subscription and player registration data is stored in our database for as long as the bot remains in your server.
- Match data is cached temporarily and is not stored permanently.
- Screenshot images are generated on-demand and may be stored temporarily on our servers.
4. Third-Party Services
Deadhock interacts with the following third-party services:
- Discord API — for bot functionality and posting messages.
- Deadlock API — for retrieving public match data.
These services have their own privacy policies that govern their use of data.
5. Data Removal
Removing Deadhock from your Discord server will stop all data collection. To request deletion of stored data, contact us through our Discord support server or GitHub.
6. Children's Privacy
Deadhock is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date.
